This Privacy Policy describes how the app Evresis - Bluetooth Locator ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

The App is designed to help you find nearby Bluetooth devices and estimate their approximate location based on Bluetooth signal strength.

• Bluetooth device data: The App scans for nearby Bluetooth devices (such as device names and signal strength) in order to help you locate them. This information is processed locally on your device.
• Approximate location: The App does not use or collect precise GPS location. Any location estimate shown in the App is derived from Bluetooth signal proximity, not GPS coordinates.
• We do not operate our own servers that store your Bluetooth scan data or location estimates. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

2. Advertising

The App displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob (operated by Google) may automatically collect certain information from your device, such as:

• Advertising ID
• Device and app information (e.g. device model, OS version)
• General location inferred from IP address (approximate, not GPS)
• Ad interaction data (e.g. impressions, clicks)

3. Permissions the App Uses

• Bluetooth: Required to scan for and connect to nearby Bluetooth devices.
• Nearby devices / Location permission (Android requirement): On some Android versions, Bluetooth scanning requires location permission to be granted at the operating system level. This is an Android system requirement for accessing Bluetooth scan results — the App itself does not use this permission to access or record your GPS location.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share Bluetooth scan data or location estimates with third parties. The only third party involved is Google AdMob, as described in Section 2, for the purpose of displaying ads.

5. Data Retention

Since Bluetooth scan results and location estimates are processed locally on your device and not sent to our servers, we do not retain this data ourselves.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
